Carolyn "Carol" M. Kirby - Obituary

arolyn “Carol” M. Kirby, a 64-year resident of Edgewater, passed away on May 18, 2024, in Baltimore, MD. Carol was born on August 25, 1938, in Annandale, Virginia to the late Paul and Ursel Marrow. Carol attended Strayer College and later retired from the Anne Arundel County Board of Education as an administrative assistant. She was the chairwoman for the AA County Retired School Personnel Association for many years. Carol enjoyed sports, gardening, and spending time with her family. In addition to her parents, Carol was preceded in death by her brothers, Thomas and William Marrow. She was the beloved wife of 66 years to Eugene Linwood Kirby, loving mother to Linwood Kirby of Edgewater, MD, Michael Kirby of Englewood, FL, and David Kirby of Fredericksburg, VA. She was also the beloved grandmother to 10 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. All services will be private.
